  • and, finally assisting in the final walkthrough inspection and the closing on your new home.

Home Buyer's Rights

As a Home Buyer, you have the right:  

  • To representation equal to that of any seller or builder.
  • To treatment as a "client", not as a "customer".
  • To a written contract with your real estate agent: making your agent legally accountable to you, and not the seller;requiring your agent not to divulge confidential information to the seller or the seller's agent; andmaking your agent:  represent your best interests in buying a home,only your interests,and, not the interests of any seller, real estate agency, mortgage lender, insurance company, or other vendor.
  • To professional assistance in: searching out properties on the market, including "For Sale By Owner";evaluating your loan package to identify a favorable loan and rate;developing a preliminary evaluation of a property (including both pros and cons) and providing a explanation of comparative property values in the area;properly advising you on price and other advantageous negotiating options and preparing a purchase offer,delivering any purchase offer promptly to the seller or the seller's agent, negotiating only on your behalf; arranging inspections, warranties, and any certifications that might affect the value of the property;accompanying you on a final walk through of the property before closing;attending the closing and providing assistance to you and your attorney at the closing.
  • To expect your home search, purchase and closing to be as simple and painless as possible.
